Im using openwrt btw. Is quectel-cm a package for openwrt? How do i get it?
If you have the source code of OpenWrt, you can compile the quectel-CM and run the quectel-CM on the OpenWrt.
i managed to fix the problem by upgrading firmware to EM160RGLAUR02A12M4GA. QMI mode is now working again
how do i know that i am on 4x4 mimo because when i check with AT+QRSRP only two antennas give values even if i initiate download
Ive also such question … trying to understand if 4x4 works or not … but it might switch down to 2x2 if there is no heavy download/upload at the moment … I suppose
If you use same command on rm520n all four will activate when you do pingtest on same at command
Have no idea then … here what I have
AT+QCFG="lte4x4mimo/disable"
+QCFG: "lte4x4mimo/disable",0
AT+QRSRP?
+QRSRP: -109,-116,-140,-140
When you see value -140 it means the port is not working or has no load as far as i know.
Here what Ive after Ive switched traffic to lte interface
AT+QRSRP?
+QRSRP: -115,-116,-118,-111
Good your modem is working all four antennas. Wonder why mine did not
Not all towers or bands support 4x4 MIMO.
