Hi,
I am facing some unexpected behaviour with my EM120R-GL LTE-A module where it will seemingly randomly restart/reset and therefore cut connectivity. I believe it is not a power issue as there is a dedicated and separate power supply to the module and its carrier board.
When resetting, the AT serial port prints the output of the module boot sequence, but there is no detection of a new device (ttyUSB or QMI device) printed in the dmesg log on the OS.
While I cannot prove it definitively, the reset seems to happen mostly after a period of high network activity which then stops, or a longer period of normal/low network activity (I have measured approximately an hour before a reset with ping alongside low speed downloading/uploading).
To try and narrow down the issue, I have tested with a second SIM card and also with RaspianOS and OpenWRT however the resets happen in all cases.
Is there any way to capture some debug messages to find out why the module is resetting itself? As far as I am aware, there is no way (in my setup) for an external influence to initiate the reset (e.g. through the defined power/reset pins).
Thank you in advance for any help!
