EG912U-GL crashes, have trace and blue screen dump

Hello, we have the EG912U-GL module in our product, and they all crash with a particular SIM card inserted when activating data.

The same SIM card works fine in other products. Also, the same EG912U-GL modems can correctly activate data with other SIM cards.

We have updated the firmware to the latest version obtained through Quectel support: EG912UGLAAR03A13M08_01.200.01.200

Thanks to Coolwatcher received from @herbert.pan-Q, we we able to reproduce this issue and capture the trace as well as the blue screen dump.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

What would be most helpful for us, is understanding why this module is able to activate data with one SIM card and crashes with another SIM card.

It seams a known issue. I have provided the beta firmwar eto you separately by email. Please verify whether it solves the dump issue.

We’re happy to confirm that this issue seems to be resolved in the beta firmware. We’re expecting the firmware release later this month. Thanks for your assistance.
