EG91 Network Search Mode question

Hi everyone,

I’m seeking some clarification regarding the network search mode on the EG91 module. From the description of the command AT+QCFG=“nwscanmode”,<scan_mode>, it seems that the available options are either:

  1. Scanning all modes (2G, 3G, 4G), or
  2. Selecting only one specific mode (e.g., 2G).

From what I understand, it does not appear to be possible to select two specific technologies simultaneously, such as 2G and 4G.

Am I correct in this assumption?
If so, is there any workaround to prioritize or configure the module to scan only two specific modes, like 2G and 4G?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, this module cannot set two network priorities. I will provide internal feedback on this issue.

Hi Hayes, thanks for your answer.

It would be really helpful to have this option for several regions. For example in Europe 3G is already shotdown but 2G is still working so being able to select 2G and 4G would help.

In LATAM as another case, 2G is mostly shutdown but 3G and 4G are available so again it would help.
