EC21 randomly starts printing ERROR

Hello everyone,
I’ve been working with a EC21 GNSS+LTE modem with moderate success. Recently I’ve had a unit that for no apparent reason stops working (connections close, no more position reports) and starts printing “ERROR” in a loop. I send no more commands to the modem and it needs to be powered down to start working again.

I’ve tried increasing error verbosity with the AT+CMEE=2 command; every other error report now includes a verbose explanation, but the problematic loop still only emits “ERROR”.

What could be the issue?

Could you tell me what is the detailed explanation of the some of the ERROR CODE you got?

The possibilities are

  1. Modem crashed;
  2. Some unknown command are sent.
