Does EC200U-CN module support DTMF detection? If yes, which firmware version?

Hello,

I’m working with a Quectel EC200U-CN module, and I want to implement DTMF tone detection during a voice call.

I’ve tried the command:

AT+QTONEDET=1

But it returns:

+CME ERROR: 58

I would like to confirm:

  1. Does the EC200U-CN support DTMF detection?
  2. If yes, which firmware version or hardware variant supports it?
  3. My module details:
  • Model: EC200U-CN
  • Firmware: EC200UCNAAR02A01M08

Is there any specific configuration or firmware upgrade needed to enable DTMF detection?

Thanks a lot for sending the firmware for my EC200U-CN module via email.

I’m not exactly sure how to do the update. Could you please send me the steps to follow, and also let me know which tools or software I’ll need? If there’s any guide or document, that would really help too.

Here are my module details, just in case:

  • Model: EC200U-CN
  • Current firmware: EC200UCNAAR02A01M08
