I am currently evaluating the EC200U series module and would like to understand the differences between the following variants:

  • EC200U-CN-AA

  • EC200U-CN-AB

  • EC200U-CN-AC

  • EC200U-CN-AP

Could you please provide details regarding:

  1. Hardware differences

  2. Supported LTE bands

  3. Firmware or software differences

  4. Regional certifications

  5. GNSS support differences (if any)

  6. Interface or feature differences

  7. Recommended use cases for each variant

  8. Lifecycle / availability status

Additionally, please let me know whether these variants are pin-to-pin compatible and whether firmware is interchangeable between them.

the main difference are:

  1. EC200UCNAA supports APT feature while other variants not.
  2. EC200UCNAA and EC200UCNAP support Bluetooth feature while other variants not.
  3. FOTA is supported.
  4. no digital audio supported on EC200UCNAP.

There is no difference in HW configuration.

All variants are pin-to-pin compatible. However, the firmware is not compatible between one another.

We would like to request the latest firmware release for the EC200U-CN-AP (with VoLTE enabled) module. Please share the latest firmware package and any relevant release notes, if available.
