Can RM520 support L4s explicit congestion marking?

I’m starting to see support for L4S in mobile networks. Can we take advantage of it?

Can the RM520 support the ECN marking as described RFC 9331 - The Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN) Protocol for Low Latency, Low Loss, and Scalable Throughput (L4S) ?
a) if I send a packet with ECT(1) will the marking be forwarded to the network?
b) if the RM520 needs to queue an ECT(1) marked packet, will it add the CE marking ?

Thanks.

Tim.

Dear @steely-glint

@silvia hi,

I’ve got the global variant.

Thanks.

Dear @steely-glint
It depends on kernal version.

You can enable ECN tcp mask by command below and try.

sysctl net.ipv4.tcp_ecn=1
Currently, this feature didn’t test on our side.
