Hi!
I would like to transmit and receive bare IP frames with the BC660K module.
Currently i can use it with the AT+QIOPEN command to open up to 5 UDP and TCP sockets because the connectID range is from 0 to 4.
But 5 sockets is a very small limit.
I think the best soulution would be to support raw IP frames. Either via a specific command or with the PPP protocol.
Is it possible to transfer raw IP frames?
If not, is it possible to increase the range for the number of sockets?
NB belongs to low-speed communication methods. Why do you expect and need to establish so many sockets? What is the purpose?
yes, i know NB means Narrow Band and that implies low speed.
In my use case there will be several applications running simultaneously using it and all of them will use little data.
I am trying to write a driver so it can be used as a standard Linux network interface. For this reason the preferred way would be to transfer raw IP frames. Is that possible?
hi,
Currently, the latest public version of our BC660K does not support PPP. If you need PPP, you need to apply for a customized version from your buyer or salesperson
