BG96 GNSS active antenna

For BG96 GNSS antenna, I would require an active antenna. I have found one that can be powered from 1.5V to 3.3V and, by the spec. sheet, under 2.8V it requires 2.5mA of current so with 1.8V, it would require roughly 3.8mA. Can I power it up from VDD_EXT of BG96 or it is better to power the antenna separately? Thanks.

VDD_EXT cannot be used for direct power supply as it will cause significant interference to the signal.
