The command indicates network information such as the access technology selected, the operator, and the band selected.

It says “such as”, which is unclear.

Are there cases where it returns information other than “selected”?

When is that the case? (Depending on the stat of AT+CREG?)

AT+CREG stat are

  • 0 Not registered. MT is not currently searching an operator to register to.
  • 1 Registered, home network.
  • 2 Not registered, but MT is currently trying to attach or searching an operator to register to.
  • 3 Registration denied
  • 4 Unknown
  • 5 Registered, roaming

What can be the possible problem the module cannot register to NB-IoT even though we receive “+QNWINFO: “NBIoT”,“52503”,“LTE BAND 8”,3584” for AT+QNWINFO command?

==>Possible reasons are

The module is in the process of network registration.

The module does not have a suitable cell to camp on and cannot initiate an attach request

Registration Network rejected by network.
