BG95-M3 Long registration times after location move CAT M1

We are seeing long registration times on our devices when they are moved location in a powered off state to a new CAT-M1 network. The BG95 sits in an “attempting to attach” state for anywhere from 10 minutes to 4 hours before the device is able to attach to the network. After this long period of waiting for a network attach, all attaches afterwards are very quick.

Is there a reason why moving these devices to new network locations causes the long attachment times? Is there a way to mitigate this?

If the location of the device does not change, BG95 is restarted or re-powered, it will search the network according to the historical frequency, usually very fast; But if you change location and the frequency changes at the same time, it may take longer to search the radio network
