I’m trying to integrate a EM05 modem on an x86_64 platform on Android 14. I tried using the driver guide (v2.0), but using the driver package V3.5.13_1102_master_beta or V3.6.35_master_beta. However, they both do not contain libril.so, which according to the guide is needed. When using the standard libril.so, I get HIDL joinRpcThreadpool without calling configureRpcThreadPool.
Is it possible to obtain an updated and complete RIL package for Android 14 on x86_64?
Normally Quectel only provide the arm and arm64 RIL libs.
If you need the x86_64 libs, Quectel have to download the Android 14 AOSP code and the can provide you the libs. If you can contact with the local sales or the local FAE, I am sure they can you provide it to you.

Do you know if for Android 14, changes to both rild and libril.so are required? Ideally in Android, only a custom libreference-ril.so should be provided by the manufacturer as I understand it. The guide (v2.0 for Android 11) is quite outdated.
For Android 14 normally we would recommend the customer to use the AIDL driver. And so that you have use the libril.so and libreference-ril.so both from Quectel.
